Please ensure you have all your Booking details correct and are familiar with the Key Code you asked us to set for you. We do NOT meet you onsite for the handover of keys - ensure you have key collection details with you.

Please arrange your travel to arrive at Wayside anytime AFTER 3pm. If it's likely to be dark you will need to bring a torch to access the key safe. If travelling in the small hours, ensure that you have sufficient fuel to complete your journey.

Wayside is easily accessible without having to negotiate those cute, but steep & narrow little lanes which have nervous drivers in tears!

Travelling on a Friday should eliminate the queues, in both directions, on the M5. Exeter Services are your last 24hr fuel supply on this route.

From Exeter follow the A30 (several fuel garages along here) via Okehampton to just south of Launceston, then take the A395 west towards Davidstow to meet the A39 Atlantic Highway.

Turn south towards Camelford, and take the next right turn, the B3314 towards Delabole, avoiding Camelford.

Continue for several miles, down through Slaughterbridge, straight over the crossroads, pass the Wind Farm (left), then through Delabole (some fuel at Lobbs garage here, limited hours only) and on through Pendoggett, then take the turning north (towards the coast) signed to Port Isaac.

Continue coastward, through Trewetha and into the village of Port Isaac.

Wayside will be found on the left hand side just before the road splits at the Peapod Stores "T" junction and telephone box, steep left for the harbour and right for Portgaverne. There is a small fuel garage just above Portgaverne - limited opening hours. There is a 24hr fuel station at ASDA Bodmin, but it does run out of diesel in the Summer months!!!

We suggest that you reverse into the driveway, both for ease of unloading and to save reversing blindly out of the property and across the pavement. It is much safer for all concerned.

There is plenty of parking space for several vehicles. Please ALWAYS park your vehicle(s) to allow for the access and exit of another vehicle. This will mean parking partly on the grass, partly on the path. We will need to park our own vehicle when grass cutting etc, and some evenings at high tides when the Beach Car Park disappears.
